Stankowski Field is open for limited play by currently enrolled Mizzou Students and Student Recreation Complex members. A section of the construction fence has been removed at the east end of the facility near the Sand Volleyball courts. Absolute Rules for Use are displayed on temporary signage at various locations within the facility. Please read them carefully; adherence is a must.
Work yet to be completed in the coming weeks includes repairing and replacing the fencing around the fields and along Maryland Ave. as well as installing new drinking fountains.
Stankowski Field, Track & Sand Volleyball courts are available for use by the public, community groups & organizations who pay established rental fees. Contact MizzouRec at 884-5600 for reservation information & rental rates or visit the facilities page of this web site for a printable application.The 1.5 million dollar project is and fully funded by the Student Recreation Activity Fee through a fiscal strategic plan developed and established in 1998 to address Stankowski turf replacement.Continue to visit MizzouRec website where the site webcam image will be displayed along with regular reports on the project.
